Sending a parcel with Ntoso takes three simple steps. First, message Ntoso on WhatsApp at 0208 656 341 to book — the bot identifies your nearest Ntoso agent store. Second, drop your parcel at that store before 12:00pm and pay by cash or Mobile Money; you receive a unique Waybill ID instantly. Third, our runner collects all parcels and loads them onto the daily 2:30pm VIP/STC bus. Your recipient gets a WhatsApp notification when the parcel arrives at their nearest Ntoso agent store and can collect the following day.
Ntoso charges flat rates with no hidden fees. Standard delivery (up to 2kg) costs GHS 40. Express delivery (2–5kg, same-day dispatch) costs GHS 55. Oversized parcels (5–15kg) cost GHS 70. Optional add-ons: Doorstep Pickup from your home costs an extra GHS 15. Doorstep Delivery to your recipient's home costs an extra GHS 15. Full door-to-door service — pickup from your door to delivery at theirs — costs an extra GHS 30.
Ntoso delivers next day, Monday to Saturday. Drop your parcel at a Ntoso agent store before 12:00pm and your recipient can collect from their nearest Ntoso agent store the following day. Our runner loads all parcels onto the daily 2:30pm VIP/STC bus, which arrives in Kumasi the same evening. The recipient receives a WhatsApp collection notification when the parcel arrives.
Yes. Ntoso offers doorstep pickup anywhere in Accra or Kumasi for an additional GHS 15. Book on WhatsApp before 10:00am and a Ntoso runner will collect from your home or office the same day. Doorstep delivery to the recipient's home or office is also available for an additional GHS 15. Full door-to-door — our runner collects from your door and delivers to theirs — costs an additional GHS 30 on top of the base delivery price.
Every Ntoso parcel receives a unique Waybill ID in the format NTO-YYYYMMDD-XXXX. To track your parcel at any time, reply to the Ntoso WhatsApp number (0208 656 341) with TRACK followed by your Waybill ID — for example: TRACK NTO-20250601-0047. You will receive an instant status update: booked, collected by runner, in transit on bus, arrived in destination city, or collected by recipient. Both sender and recipient receive WhatsApp notifications automatically at each milestone.
In Accra, Ntoso has neighbourhood agent stores in Lapaz, Kaneshie, Dansoman, Achimota, Madina, Tesano, Spintex, and East Legon. In Kumasi, Ntoso has agent stores in Adum, Bantama, Suame, Asafo, Nhyiaeso, Tafo, and Oforikrom. The Ntoso WhatsApp bot identifies the nearest agent store to the customer's location at the time of booking. New agents are added regularly — message 0208 656 341 on WhatsApp to find your nearest location.
Yes. Ntoso offers storage and fulfilment services for small businesses, online sellers, and e-commerce vendors in Ghana. Vendors store inventory at Ntoso's Accra headquarters and Ntoso picks, packs, and dispatches parcels to customers on their behalf. Monthly storage starts from GHS 80. Pick-and-pack handling costs GHS 6 per parcel in addition to the delivery fee. This service is ideal for Instagram boutiques, Jumia sellers, Tonaton merchants, fabric traders, cosmetics brands, and any business shipping regularly on the Accra–Kumasi corridor.
To become a Ntoso agent, send a WhatsApp message to 0208 656 341 with your name, store name, store address, and city. A Ntoso field officer will contact you within 24 hours to arrange onboarding. Requirements: a provision store in a residential area of Accra or Kumasi, open at least 12 hours per day, an Android or iPhone smartphone, and a small secure storage space inside the store. Ntoso provides free branded store signage, waybill pouches, a 30-minute onboarding session, and ongoing WhatsApp support. Agents earn GHS 4.70 per parcel handled, paid every Friday via Mobile Money.
Ntoso's Standard delivery at GHS 40 is one of the most affordable parcel delivery options between Accra and Kumasi. Standard covers parcels up to 2kg with next-day delivery and full WhatsApp tracking. No terminal visit required from sender or recipient — both drop off and collect at neighbourhood provision stores. Ntoso is cheaper than most courier companies operating on this route and significantly more convenient than the traditional VIP or STC bus cargo service.
Ntoso operates Monday to Saturday. The service does not run on Sundays. On Ghanaian public holidays, service may be reduced or suspended — Ntoso announces any interruptions in advance via the WhatsApp channel. Parcels dropped on Saturday are delivered the following Monday. For urgent deliveries, Ntoso recommends dropping before 12:00pm on any operating day for same-day dispatch on the 2:30pm bus.
