Customer Terms of Service
Effective June 2026 · Ntoso Logistics Limited
These Terms of Service govern the use of Ntoso Logistics' parcel delivery service provided by Ntoso Logistics Limited, a private limited company registered in Ghana. By using the Service — including booking via WhatsApp — you agree to these Terms.
Clause 1
The Service

Ntoso provides a last-mile parcel delivery service connecting Accra and Kumasi via a network of neighbourhood provision store agents. Customers book via WhatsApp, drop parcels at their nearest Ntoso agent store, and recipients collect from their nearest Ntoso agent store.

Doorstep pickup and delivery options are available at additional cost as communicated during the booking process.

The Service operates Monday to Saturday. The standard daily dispatch is via the 2:30pm VIP/STC bus. Ntoso targets same-day dispatch for parcels dropped before 12:00pm noon, but does not guarantee a specific bus departure.

Clause 2
Booking and Payment

All bookings are initiated via the Ntoso WhatsApp bot. A booking is confirmed when the Customer receives a Waybill ID.

Payment is made in full at the Ntoso agent store at the time of drop-off, in cash or via Mobile Money.

Current prices: Standard GHS 40 (up to 2kg) · Express GHS 55 (2–5kg) · Oversized GHS 70 (5–15kg). Doorstep Pickup +GHS 15 · Doorstep Delivery +GHS 15 · Full Door-to-Door +GHS 30. Prices are subject to change with notice posted on the Ntoso WhatsApp channel.

Clause 3
Prohibited Items

Customers must not send the following items via Ntoso:

  • Cash exceeding GHS 500
  • Illegal drugs or controlled substances
  • Firearms, ammunition, or weapons of any kind
  • Flammable, explosive, or hazardous materials
  • Live animals
  • Perishable goods requiring refrigeration
  • Human or animal remains
  • Any items prohibited under Ghanaian law

Ntoso reserves the right to refuse, inspect, or surrender to authorities any parcel suspected to contain prohibited items. The Customer bears full legal responsibility for the contents of their parcel.

Clause 4
Liability and Compensation

Ntoso takes reasonable care of all parcels. Our maximum liability for loss or damage to a parcel while in Ntoso's custody is limited to GHS 500 per parcel or the declared value of the parcel, whichever is lower.

Ntoso is not liable for: loss or damage resulting from inadequate packaging by the Customer; loss or damage to prohibited items; indirect or consequential losses; delays caused by events beyond Ntoso's reasonable control (including road closures, bus cancellations, or acts of God); or loss or damage occurring while parcels are in the custody of an Agent store.

To make a claim, notify Ntoso via WhatsApp within 48 hours of the expected delivery date, providing the Waybill ID and a description of the loss or damage.

Clause 5
Delivery Timeframes

Ntoso targets next-day delivery for all standard parcels dropped before 12:00pm noon on operating days. This is a target, not a guarantee.

Express parcels receive priority handling and same-day dispatch is targeted.

Ntoso will notify customers of any known delays via WhatsApp.

Clause 6
Uncollected Parcels

Ntoso will hold uncollected incoming parcels at the destination agent store for a maximum of five (5) calendar days from the date of arrival notification.

After this period, Ntoso reserves the right to return the parcel to the origin city at the Customer's expense, or to dispose of it if it cannot be returned.

Clause 7
Cancellation and Refunds

A booking may be cancelled before the parcel is handed to the Ntoso agent store, with a full refund.

Once a parcel has been handed over to an agent store, no refund is available unless Ntoso is unable to dispatch the parcel within 48 hours of the agreed dispatch time — in which case a full refund will be issued.

Refunds are processed within 5 working days to the original payment method.

Clause 8
Data Privacy

Ntoso collects and processes personal data — names, phone numbers, and addresses — for the sole purpose of providing the Service. We do not sell customer data to third parties.

By using the Service, customers consent to receiving WhatsApp messages from Ntoso relating to their booking, tracking updates, and service notifications.

Clause 9
Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes shall be resolved first by good-faith negotiation and thereafter by the courts of Ghana.
